This contract position focuses on public order, gaming-floor access, emergency assistance, and security reporting. You will inspect identification, screen bags, investigate incidents, and help manage guest safety. The work requires communication, de-escalation, and sound decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain public order and enforce security and safety rules
- Inspect identification and control gaming-floor access
- Conduct bag checks for prohibited items
- Investigate incidents and prepare detailed security reports
- Assist emergencies, money escorts, and card destruction
Requirements:
- Related diploma or equivalent experience
- Valid private security license, First Aid, and CPR C
- Smart Serve Certificate and valid Ontario G license
- Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills
- Working knowledge of WHMIS and applicable safety legislation
