Falcon Equipment seeks a Heavy Duty Mechanic for its Nanaimo Branch. The work includes installing, assembling, maintaining, repairing, and testing customer equipment. Primary equipment includes truck-mounted cranes, snow and ice equipment, and rail equipment. Related mechanical backgrounds are considered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and assemble heavy equipment
- Maintain customer equipment and related systems
- Repair truck-mounted cranes, snow and ice equipment, and rail equipment
- Test various customer equipment
- Complete other required duties
Requirements:
- Three or more years of related heavy equipment experience
- Red Seal Heavy Duty Equipment Technician or Mechanic certification
- Hydraulic and electrical experience and knowledge
- Ability to troubleshoot problems and read schematics
- Own tools and ability to maneuver around heavy equipment
