As a Property Tax Specialist, you will support Home Trust mortgage customers and internal teams with property tax inquiries. The work includes maintaining tax accounts, arranging payments, reviewing balances, and communicating essential payment details. You will also address arrears, supplementary bills, tax certificates, and tax-sale notices while following company policies and customer service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain mortgage customer tax accounts across Canada
- Arrange property tax payments within municipal due dates
- Review tax-account deficits and surpluses monthly
- Process supplementary bills and municipal tax certificates
- Archive payment documents and customer correspondence
Requirements:
- Two years of property tax or municipal experience
- Business-related post-secondary degree or diploma
- Experience managing payments and working with municipalities
- Strong organization, analysis, follow-up, and attention to detail
- Fluency in English and French
