This Third Cook supports restaurant food preparation and culinary operations at a uniquely managed Fairmont property within Accor. You will prepare à la carte and buffet items, complete mise en place, follow recipes, and assist plating. The position develops knife skills, cooking methods, station abilities, and culinary confidence. You will work with Culinary and Restaurant teams during preparation and service while following food safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and portion food for à la carte and buffet service
- Complete mise en place and ingredient preparation
- Assist plating and service execution
- Maintain organized, stocked, sanitary workstations
- Support station setup, breakdown, and busy service operations
Requirements:
- Minimum one year culinary experience in a high-volume kitchen
- Food Handler certification required
- Basic food preparation, knife, cooking, and equipment knowledge
- Ability to follow recipes and portion standards accurately
- Availability for early, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts
