Shape data protection compliance at EY in Toronto through regulatory interpretation, stakeholder guidance, and effective governance processes. This Associate Director supports EY Canada’s Risk Management function and privacy team. You will interpret privacy requirements, advise professionals, monitor controls, and help implement global policies and tools locally. The position requires experience across data protection, records management, information governance, or compliance. Key Responsibilities:
Support compliance with Canadian data protection requirements Interpret policies, standards, and regulatory requirements clearly Recommend improvements from monitoring and stakeholder feedback Coordinate global tools and policies within Canada Manage special projects and specialty practice requirements Requirements:
At least five years of relevant governance or privacy experience Current knowledge of records management practices and standards Experience implementing or monitoring compliance-related policies Project management experience with related initiatives Knowledge of CASL, GDPR, or California privacy requirements preferred Use regulatory knowledge, project management, and clear guidance to strengthen EY’s Canadian data protection compliance.
