The opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Manager/Data & AI Architect for our AI & Data practice team. We are looking for a candidate with strong technical leadership background, hands-on experience with Data Bricks, pursuits, proposal and delivery.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Apply your knowledge and experience to support the delivery of key projects, build valuable relationships both within EY and with clients, and develop strong capabilities through both formal training and working with senior mentors and talented colleagues across different functions.
• Provide architecture leadership & subject matter expertise to client engagements focusing on complex & innovative products and reusable assets.
• Develop solution plans, prior to kicking off a project as part of a product life cycle, intended to support business investment decisions.
• Create innovative and practical designs that account for the end-to-end technical solution of a system, in line with the business strategy and objectives.
• Work closely and continuously with the business/client to focus on meeting business/client requirements.
• Identify, define and implement reusable assets and standards.
• Ensure relevant technical strategies, policies, standards, and practices are applied correctly across Technology programs/projects and products.
• Contribute to the development of architecture governance structures, methodologies, and compliance activities.
• Work with vendors to assess vendor products and assist in implementing them at EY.
• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
• Cultivate lasting relationships across business, IT and vendors/industry analysts.
• Recognize industry technology trends and emerging technologies.
• Guide others in resolving complex issues in data architecture.
• Monitor the progress and quality of the project and confirm the developed solution complies with architectural design.

To qualify for the role, you must have:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, data science, informatics, operations research, engineering, or a related field.
• Data Platform experience.
• Data Modelling skills.
• Databricks, Azure Cloud, Data Engineering experience.

Ideally, you’ll also have:

• Interest in Data Analytics along with experience in programming.
• Data Visualization, Microsoft Fabric, Unity Catalog, Data Bricks assets Bundles (DAB), CI/CD, Data Migration experience.
