MDS and RAI coordination anchor this full-time position at Manitoulin Centennial Manor in Little Current, Ontario, alongside restorative care leadership.
Reporting to the Director of Care, the MDS/RAI Coordinator supports assessment timelines, data collection, and reporting guidelines. The position teaches staff, analyzes RAI information, supports funding requirements, and develops restorative programming for eligible residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate MDS assessments for all residents within established timelines
- Analyze resident, Home, and Health Zone RAI data
- Teach staff about data collection and reporting requirements
- Batch quarterly assessments and respond to submission errors
- Develop, implement, and monitor restorative programming
Requirements:
- Three to five years of long-term care experience
- Experience with MDS considered an asset
- Strong analytical and assessment skills
- Knowledge of InterRAI and MDS/RUG III systems
- Ability to lead adult learner training and education
