As a Housekeeping Aide, you will maintain resident apartments and shared areas within the Ottawa residence. Your work includes cleaning furniture, fixtures, walls, ceilings, lights, vents, windows, carpets, and non-carpeted floors. You will also follow residence policies and safe working practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean areas according to assigned schedules and methods
- Sanitize furniture, fixtures, walls, ceilings, and windows
- Perform carpet and non-carpet floor care procedures
- Attend required training and staff meetings
- Respect and promote Resident Rights and Responsibilities
Requirements:
- Previous commercial, residential, or healthcare cleaning experience desirable
- Experience with laundry procedures is desirable
- Ability to provide day-to-day feedback
- Proficiency in a second language is an asset
- Complete current Vulnerable Sector Check required
