Develop and perform quality control in department, product line or location.
Key Activities and Accountabilities
- 1. Perform audits to quality standards to assess compliance.
- 2. Perform vendor audits in order to improve incoming supplies.
- 3. Plan, direct and provide technical support for testing activities.
- 4. Initiate and process non-conformance reports as required.
- 5. Review reports of conditions found during inspection activities and notify operations of significant problems.
- 6. Provide technical support to operations.
- 7. May be responsible for developing and maintaining training and certification records.
Job Knowledge and Qualifications
- 1. Degree in relevant subject
- 2. 3+ years engineering experience
- 3. 6+ years previous experience with Quality Management Systems
