As a senior engineer, you will contribute to site investigations, studies, and detailed engineering for multidisciplinary mining projects. Your work includes technical specifications, data sheets, reports, and design documents. You will report to the Vice President, Central Canada Mining, under the Director of Engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete seepage, stability, hydrology, and hydraulics calculations
- Design pipes, drainage ditches, grading plans, and erosion controls
- Plan field exploration, logging, well installation, and sampling
- Review technical work from engineers, designers, and technicians
- Prepare specifications, reports, estimates, and permit documents
Requirements:
- Professional Engineer license in Ontario, Manitoba, or Newfoundland/Labrador
- Minimum 10+ years of project engineering experience
- Bachelor's degree in an applicable engineering discipline
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office
- Willingness to travel for extended or short-notice assignments
