This full-time, permanent Lead Mechanic role owns maintenance, reliability, and readiness for fleet and field equipment. You will inspect returning equipment, complete local repairs, and establish consistent maintenance practices. The position requires hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical controls, and preventative maintenance experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead daily mechanical maintenance for company equipment and fleet
- Perform preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues
- Inspect and repair equipment returning from field operations
- Complete post-job inspections before returning equipment to service
Requirements:
- Ideally 10+ years of industrial or heavy-equipment experience
- Journeyperson Heavy-Duty Mechanic certification preferred
- Experience maintaining trucks, trailers, pumps, compressors, or generators
- Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record
- Ability to work hands-on in field and shop environments
