Production Manager in Thompson

Reports to: Director of Maintenance Operations.

Job Type: Full-time permanent, Monday to Friday.

Requirements:

• 5 years supervisor experience.
• M1/M2.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Experience on DASH 8, ATR 42/72and King Airs an asset.
• Driver’s license.

Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Responsible for communicating daily with customers and coordinating manpower, tooling, and parts to ensure requested maintenance is completed.
• Reschedule any customer requested maintenance with the customer that was not completed.
• May be delegated to carry out functions for the Director of Maintenance in his absence.
• Assisting with and supporting all policies and procedures regarding the Alliance Maintenance Services SMS Program, as outlined in MPM Section 8.
• Assisting in Quality Assurance functions as delegated by Director of Maintenance and Director of Quality, Safety and Training.
• Maintaining and carrying out Training duties delegated by the Director of Quality, Safety and Training.
• Ensuring all procedures for recording and submitting Service Difficulty Reports is carried out in accordance with CAR 521, Division IX.
• Assist with all major modifications and repairs and ensure documentation post-mod or repair is filed as required.
• Responsible for maintaining AMO electronic technical record data, electronic entries in CMMS computer system, forecasting and producing work orders in a timely manner.
• Provide management, supervision, and training of assigned personnel.
• Maintain the crew schedule.
• Maintain the RTLT schedule.
• Provide mentorship and supervision to maintenance staff, ensuring that crucial knowledge and workmanship is transferred to them.
• Lead by example and be a positive role model for others to follow.
• Other duties as assigned.
