Excel Society seeks a part-time Licensed Practical Nurse for Grand Manor. This position requires current nursing knowledge, clinical judgment, and full-scope practice within regulatory standards. You will supervise Health Care Aides, support competencies, document care, and contribute to safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide safe, competent, and ethical client care
- Supervise and mentor Health Care Aides
- Delegate tasks within Health Care Aides' competencies
- Maintain confidentiality in all communications
- Evaluate care and address safety concerns
Requirements:
- Active Alberta practical nurse registration in good standing
- Current First Aid and CPR Level C certification
- Satisfactory current criminal record check
- Knowledge of nursing standards and ethical requirements
- Clinical judgment within full scope of practice
