The Superintendent – Integrated Planning leads professionals supporting safe, efficient underground mining operations. The work spans strategic mine design, project management, fleet strategy, and technical leadership. You will develop people, optimize mine plans, and deliver operational results through strong commercial and analytical capability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead mine design and planning standards, processes, and maintenance
- Guide technical support meeting safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
- Coach, mentor, and manage engineers and technical professionals
- Develop mine plans, forecasts, budgets, and three-year plans
- Complete reporting, variance analyses, and cost management activities
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering
- Progressive underground mining experience in a leadership role
- Strong mine planning, scheduling, and drill-and-blast knowledge
- Advanced mine planning software skills; Deswik considered an asset
- Budget management, communication, and technical team development experience
