Metallurgists with gold recovery and process optimization expertise can support Evolution Mining’s Red Lake operation in residential Northwestern Ontario. Work an 8-on, 6-off roster with 10.5-hour days. This Metallurgist position focuses on improving processing operations, gold recoveries, and consumable usage through research and development. You will support metallurgical accounting, process systems, and plant performance at a site with three underground mines and two processing plants. The position is an existing vacancy. Key Responsibilities:
Research improvements to processing operations and gold recoveries Develop procedures for process improvements and bullion processing Set safe, cost-effective plant operating parameters Issue daily and monthly metallurgical balance sheets Troubleshoot production problems and recommend improvements Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical Engineering or similar discipline Ability to understand process systems and technical information Extensive data analysis and superior numerical ability Proficient computer and spreadsheet skills Ability to manage priorities and projects under pressure Apply metallurgical analysis, process optimization, and gold recovery expertise while supporting Evolution Mining’s Red Lake operation.
