Full-timeField OperationsVictoria, BC## About the roleThe AV Installation Technician is responsible for installing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and servicing commercial audio-visual systems in a variety of customer environments.## Responsibilities* Perform audio-visual system installation for our clients, including low voltage wiring, trim-out, equipment, rack setup, video displays, cameras, projection systems, media rooms, audio systems and control systems* Perform cable pulls, crimp, and terminate audio and video cables* Assist with structural installation of displays, screens, and projectors* Troubleshoot issues and perform final testing of installed systems* All other duties as assigned/required## Qualifications* Ability to read and follow building plans and wiring schematics* Ability to lift heavy objects such as assisting with 80\" displays or larger* Ability to work off ladders and/or scaffolding* Knowledgeable in computer and communication programs* Ability to work efficiently under pressure with a high level of professionalism* 1–2 years of AV installation experience* Must possess a valid drivers license with a clean drivers abstract## Nice to have* Basic tool knowledge and experience using a wide variety of tools* Industry-related certifications* Safety certifications## What we look for* Takes pride in clean, quality installations* Comfortable working on active job sites and adapting to changing conditions* A reliable team player who communicates well with site staff and clients* Safety-conscious and detail-oriented* Eager to learn and grow within the AV industry## Benefits* Dental care* Extended health care* Vision care* Life insurance* Disability insurance* RRSP match* Paid time off* Wellness program* Company events* On-site parking* Store discount* Company car## Compensation$15 – $45 CAD per hour## How to applyWe would love to hear from you.
