Senior Developer in Oakville

The Euna Grants engineering team is building software that helps governments and nonprofits manage the full grants lifecycle, and the Senior Software Developer at L3 is a technical anchor of that work. You will own large, complex projects end to end, set the quality bar for the team, and lead Euna Grants' expanding use of agentic AI in production systems. If you want to drive architecture decisions, mentor other developers, and build AI-integrated software that ships at scale, this is the role for you.

What You'll Do

• Own large-scale technical projects from design through delivery with limited guidance, including architecture, implementation, and testing.
• Lead the team's agentic AI development practice, including prompt architecture, tool and MCP design, agent orchestration, and human-in-the-loop workflows.
• Define and hold the team accountable to best coding practices; lead code reviews and drive framework advancement.
• Mentor developers across the team to raise capability in relevant technologies and methodologies.
• Present new design and implementation patterns to peers as part of the code quality process.
• Support and troubleshoot existing production software, escalating tooling gaps and agent failures clearly rather than working around them.
• Use AI and agentic coding tools (such as Claude Code or comparable assistants) as a core part of day-to-day development workflow.

What You Bring

• 7+ years of .NET and ASP.NET MVC experience, with strong command of RESTful API and WebAPI development in C#.
• 3+ years building AI-integrated applications, including agentic systems with autonomous workflow design, subagent delegation, and context management.
• 3+ years designing and supporting RESTful APIs and tool integrations for LLM-based systems.
• You have led other developers technically, managed project timelines, and held a team accountable to engineering standards.
• You bring full-stack fluency and can translate business requirements into agent behaviors, prompts, and escalation paths with clarity.
• You take ownership of the quality and correctness of what you ship, whether hand-written or agent-produced.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Experience with the Claude Agent SDK or comparable frameworks (OpenAI Agents SDK, LangGraph), including multi-agent coordination and task management.
• Proficiency with MCP servers, connector design, and skill authoring.
• 1+ years supporting Claude-powered agents or similar LLM systems in a production environment.
• Front-end experience with HTML5, SCSS, TypeScript, Knockout, and/or React in a SaaS product environment.

Location

This position will be hybrid with 3 days/week in our Oakville, ON office.

Compensation Range

$108,900 - $136,100. We believe in openness, so we publish our range from the start. Where an offer will land depends on your background, strengths, and how you'll contribute to the work ahead.
