Lead governance, control testing, and operational risk management for EQ Personal Banking in a hybrid Toronto-based position. Apply regulatory expertise daily. As Senior Manager, you will lead first-line testing and risk management programs supporting regulatory compliance and operational excellence. The work spans control inventories, testing activities, issue remediation, reporting, and process improvement. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior leaders while supporting day-to-day priorities and strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain first-line control inventories aligned with OSFI Guideline E-13
- Design and execute testing activities for key controls
- Analyze results, identify gaps, and recommend remediation strategies
- Manage issues and remediation through Resolver
- Prepare risk, control, and testing reports for senior leaders
Requirements:
- Related post-secondary education in risk, business, law, or finance
- Minimum five years progressive risk, audit, or first-line experience
- Knowledge of financial services products, services, and channels
- Compliance testing or audit experience
- Strong communication, judgment, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Bring risk management, control testing, regulatory knowledge, and practical judgment to EQ Personal Banking’s governance environment.
