Lead commercial credit oversight at EQ Bank in a hybrid Toronto setting, applying underwriting expertise and strategic risk judgment across lending portfolios. The Senior Manager, Credit Risk, supports senior management with comprehensive credit risk management across the Bank. You will lead Commercial Credit reviews, adjudicate or recommend CSV loans, and oversee BFC credit risk. The role also manages the Credit Risk Team and key relationships. Key Responsibilities:
Lead Commercial Credit reviews and assess underwriting procedures Review risk ratings against Bank policies and AIRB requirements Adjudicate or recommend Cash Surrender Value loan credits Manage Decision Quality Review processes and resolve identified themes Lead second line oversight of BFC financing activities Requirements:
Minimum 10 years of lending experience Experience spanning commercial banking, mortgages, leasing, or portfolio management Post-secondary education in business or finance preferred Strong compliance, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills Deep understanding of underwriting, valuation, and secured lending Bring senior credit leadership, commercial underwriting knowledge, and AIRB oversight expertise to EQ Bank’s Toronto-based risk team.
