Shape a greenfield Commercial Lines platform with microservices, event-driven architecture, and commercial property insurance expertise at EPAM. As Solution Architect, you will define target-state architecture and governance for underwriting, rating, policy administration, carrier management, and integrations. You will work with Product, Underwriting, Actuarial, Engineering, and Data Engineering teams. Your deliverables will guide implementation across independently deployable services. Key Responsibilities:
Define service decomposition, bounded contexts, and service data ownership Design Kafka domain events, schemas, versioning, and replay semantics Author OpenAPI 3.1 specifications for inter-service APIs Design commercial insurance hierarchies and exposure schemas Produce C4 diagrams, ADRs, contracts, and data models Requirements:
Eight or more years in solution or enterprise architecture End-to-end greenfield microservices platform delivery experience Commercial Lines or broader P&C insurance domain experience Production event-driven architecture using Kafka or equivalent OpenAPI 3.1 and auditable financial transaction data experience Bring commercial insurance, microservices, event-driven architecture, and contract-level API expertise to EPAM’s platform initiative.
