Advance brownfield redevelopment projects in Clarington as an Environmental Geoscientist with GEMTEC, overseeing investigations, sampling plans, and environmental data. GEMTEC is seeking an experienced Environmental Engineer or Geoscientist for its employee-owned consulting team. This position supports multidisciplinary infrastructure and greenfield development work through Ontario regulatory knowledge, problem solving, and project management. You will oversee field investigations, coordinate samples, manage data, and prepare environmental documentation for clients. Key Responsibilities:
Oversee brownfield redevelopment field investigations Develop and implement sampling and analysis plans Support laboratory sample submissions and data management Prepare borehole logs, report figures, and reports Apply Ontario Regulations to development projects Requirements:
Environmental engineering, environmental science, or geoscience degree Registered Professional designation such as P.Eng. or P.Geo. Seven to ten years of environmental consulting experience Qualified Person designation under O.Reg. 153/04 required Valid driver’s license Bring brownfield investigation, sampling, and environmental consulting experience to GEMTEC’s Clarington projects as an experienced professional.
