Lead strategic finance for the St. Lawrence Parks Commission, applying financial planning and reporting expertise in Morrisburg, Ontario. This temporary assignment runs through May 2027.
As Manager, Finance, you will oversee budgeting, forecasting, compliance, and financial planning for the Commission. Your expertise will support sound decisions and organizational priorities through financial analysis, controllership, and continuous improvement. The assignment includes leadership of corporate finance services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic financial expertise and return on investment analysis
- Develop and monitor financial systems, controls, planning, and reporting
- Ensure compliance with legislation, policies, procedures, and audit requirements
- Lead accounting, procurement, planning, and pay services
- Advance equity, diversity, and inclusion principles
Requirements:
- Chartered Professional Accountant designation or equivalent education and experience
- Knowledge of GAAP, PSAS, and controllership principles
- Experience supporting multi-year planning and financial reporting
- Experience implementing modernized enterprise resource systems
- Strong analytical, leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
