The Sales Coordinator supports the Event Technology team, focusing especially on events generating less than $5,000. This position manages sales administration through opportunity management, billing, customer follow-up, and CRM updates. It reports to the Sales Director or Director, Event Technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sell smaller BEO, exhibitor, affiliate, and ICW events
- Maximize revenue while following event profit guidelines
- Attend client meetings and address questions or concerns
- Complete order entries, billing, and customer follow-up
- Maintain accurate CRM records and coordinate order hand-offs
Requirements:
- High school diploma; BS or BA preferred
- One-plus year sales or event experience accepted
- Technology, sales, hospitality, or event planning experience helpful
- Technical aptitude with computer software and programs
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
