This full-time, non-union role connects Indigenous Nations with Enbridge on operational matters, projects, regulatory processes, and community priorities. You will coordinate internal teams, address concerns, document commitments, and identify opportunities for collaboration. The position is primarily office-based, with frequent regional travel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead direct engagement with Indigenous Nations and communities
- Manage relationships, commitments, outcomes, and consultation requirements
- Mentor teams on Indigenous protocols, norms, and politics
- Develop engagement plans, strategies, talking points, and budgets
- Identify participation, investment, and economic opportunities
Requirements:
- University degree and six or more years' related experience
- Experience engaging Indigenous communities, preferably in energy
- Knowledge of Indigenous history, rights, protocols, and politics
- Strong consultation, negotiation, facilitation, and communication abilities
- Flexibility managing competing priorities and projects
