Reporting to the Principal and Senior Manager, this Senior Staff Accountant works collaboratively with team members and clients. The position supports assurance engagements, accounting standards research, control systems understanding, and client decision-making. Emerge CPA serves diverse organizations across Southern New Brunswick and beyond.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide solutions regarding current business and financial conditions
- Assist with assurance engagement planning and execution
- Research accounting standards and apply control systems understanding
- Review and contribute to engagement planning and execution
- Train and mentor junior staff
Requirements:
- College Certificate in Accounting, Bachelor of Commerce, or BBA
- Minimum two years of assurance experience
- Strong financial and analytical comprehension
- Exceptional time management and prioritization skills
- CPA designation or interest in completing one considered an asset
