As an Electrician (Industrial), you will report to the Underground Supervisor within Energy Delivery, Underground. The permanent, full-time position requires troubleshooting electrical equipment, regulatory training, and travel throughout Nova Scotia. You will support planned and unplanned assignments, emergency restoration, and safe work practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install electrical underground plant across transmission and distribution systems
- Commission, maintain, and repair underground electrical plant
- Assist emergency and storm-related power restoration
- Travel throughout the province and support other locations
- Follow occupational health, safety, and environmental requirements
Requirements:
- Journeyman Industrial Electrician certification required
- Minimum two years troubleshooting electrical equipment
- Valid Nova Scotia Driver's License and two years driving experience
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull specified weights
