Model hydrologic and hydraulic systems for EMC Group Limited projects across Ontario. Use Visual OTTHYMO, HEC-RAS, SWMM, and InfoWorks to assess drainage solutions. This intermediate engineering position supports stormwater management and municipal servicing assignments from assessment through approval. You will develop models, evaluate development impacts, and explain assumptions and design implications clearly. The work also includes servicing studies, water distribution analysis, and technical documentation. Key Responsibilities:
Assess drainage systems using hydrologic and hydraulic models Evaluate development impacts and establish stormwater solutions Prepare site servicing and functional servicing studies Analyze water distribution demand, pressure, and fire flows Prepare coordinated drawings using AutoCAD and Civil 3D Requirements:
Minimum five years of stormwater management design experience Expertise with Visual OTTHYMO, HEC-RAS, SWMM, and InfoWorks Experience with WaterCAD or WaterGEMS analysis Strong AutoCAD and Civil 3D proficiency Ability to explain modelling assumptions and design implications Apply advanced modelling, distribution analysis, and Civil 3D capabilities to Ontario water resources and municipal servicing projects.
