As a permanent, full-time member of our team, you will deliver professional assessments and diabetes management solutions, educating patients of all ages. You will facilitate sessions and presentations in both in-person and virtual settings, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams to achieve community health goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct professional nutritional assessments for various diabetes cases
- Facilitate individual and group educational sessions
- Provide diabetes education for all ages and demographics
- Participate in multidisciplinary health gatherings
- Lead engaging nutrition workshops and cooking classes
Requirements:
- Accredited 4-year degree in nutrition or relevant field
- Completed Dietetic Internship or equivalent training
- Successful completion of the Canadian Dietetic Registration Examination
- Eligible membership with Ontario's College of Dietitians
- Will to obtain Certification as a Diabetes Educator
