Elsweyr is building a marketplace and capture toolkit for immersive, first-person adventure experiences on Apple Vision Pro. Creators film climbs, dives and treks in 360°, and viewers live them from home. We’re pre-launch and looking for our first engineer.
What you’ll do:
- Own the product end to end, from the visionOS viewing app to the marketplace backend
- Build the playback experience for multi-camera, high-resolution spatial video
- Design the pipeline that takes creator footage from capture to publish to headset
- Help shape the capture toolkit with creators in the field
Must have:
- Prior hands-on experience shipping for Apple Vision Pro (visionOS, RealityKit, SwiftUI)
- Prior employment at Apple Inc for a minimum of 4 months (internship counts)
- Experience with spatial, 360° or immersive video, and with streaming or large media delivery
- Strong full-stack fundamentals and comfort working with no existing structure
Nice to have:
- Marketplace or creator-platform experience
- Camera hardware, capture rigs or video encoding background
Location: remote-first
Compensation: combination of cash and equity. The mix depends on startup's ability to attract investment. Equity is meaningful at this stage.
