Support accurate monthly payroll at EIT in Oxford, using detailed data checking and benefits administration skills. Work under the Payroll Manager's direction.
As Payroll Administrator, you will support payroll and benefits administration within EIT's two-person payroll team. The work includes high-volume data input, record checking, audit support, and routine payroll queries. You will help maintain accurate payroll records, prepare files, and support statutory payments, pension contributions, and deductions. EIT currently uses a third-party payroll provider, while future workstreams may move records to Oracle Fusion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, check, and enter monthly payroll data accurately
- Prepare payroll files and supporting documentation for review
- Maintain records, audit trails, calendars, and action logs
- Support payroll queries and escalate complex matters
- Check benefits, pension data, deductions, and effective dates
Requirements:
- Two or more years' payroll administration experience
- Strong numerical skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to manage high-volume administration and payroll deadlines
- Experience with Excel lookups, filters, and pivot tables desirable
- Permanent UK work rights and Oxford commuting distance
