As an EH&S Specialist, you will support program development, implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement for Zurn Elkay Water Solutions Corporation. The position works with site leadership and employees on safety culture, incident prevention, environmental compliance, and operational controls. You will help administer programs, investigate incidents, and maintain required documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and administer LOTO, WHMIS, and emergency response programs
- Conduct incident investigations and support root cause analysis
- Coordinate NPRI reporting and hazardous waste management activities
- Deliver new-hire orientation and EH&S training programs
- Conduct inspections, audits, and compliance assessments
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in occupational safety or environmental science
- One to three years of relevant EHS experience
- Working knowledge of Ontario OHSA and MECP regulations
- Knowledge of current safety and loss control practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
