Elk Island Public Schools is recruiting a Grade 6 French Immersion Teacher for Forest Grove School. You will share subjects with another Grade 6 teacher, teaching ELA and Science to both Grade 6 classes. The other teacher will teach FLA and Social Studies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach ELA and Science to both Grade 6 classes
- Share teaching subjects with the other Grade 6 teacher
- Create safe, supportive, and challenging classroom environments
- Analyze data to inform decisions and instruction
- Collaborate with colleagues across Grade 6 classrooms
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Education degree
- Valid Alberta Teaching Certificate
- Excellent French verbal and written skills
- Effective organization and classroom management skills
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention training
