As a Property Accountant, you will ensure accounting integrity across features touching resident ledgers and client accounting workflows. You will advise on rent, concessions, deposits, subsidies, utilities, delinquencies, and close. The work combines requirements, testing, calculations, terminology, and customer best practices. Key Responsibilities:
Guide accounting treatment across multifamily resident scenarios Translate accounting workflows into requirements and acceptance tests Validate prorations, allocations, adjustments, charges, and credits Develop test cases and run UAT with client accountants Define event lifecycles, terminology, guides, and accounting playbooks Requirements:
Five-plus years in multifamily property accounting or controllership Experience with PMC, owner-operator, or REIT environments Knowledge of GL, sub-ledgers, resident ledgers, deposits, and close Strong US GAAP grounding and stakeholder communication skills Availability to work in person four to five days weekly Apply multifamily accounting, US GAAP, and validation expertise to EliseAI’s resident-ledger products and client workflows.
