As a Powerline Technician Apprentice at Elexicon, you'll gain valuable experience in overhead and underground maintenance and construction. Your responsibilities will include constructing lines and using safe work practices while mastering the operation of essential equipment. You'll also respond to outages and emergencies as part of the job.
Key Responsibilities:
- Construct and maintain energized power lines safely
- Operate bucket trucks and other essential line equipment
- Set foundations for pad mounted equipment and transformers
- Execute live line work using required safety techniques
- Respond to emergency calls and assist in outages
Requirements:
- Registered with the College of Trades as a Power Line Technician
- Completed minimum Level 1 apprentice requirements
- C.V.P./Reg. 2204 and Working at Heights certifications
- Class AZ/DZ driver's license for transportation
- CPR/First Aid and other safety training certifications
