- Role Description
- Develop detailed structural designs using Auto CAD, Revit, S-Frame, Idea statica, and Bluebeam.
- Create accurate drafting and modeling for various construction projects, including bridges, buildings, and infrastructure.
- Perform structural analysis using engineering tools to ensure designs meet safety and code requirements.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines and budget constraints.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and project managers to coordinate design efforts and resolve technical issues.
- Conduct site visits to assess existing structures and oversee construction progress to ensure compliance with design specifications.
- Prepare detailed reports, calculations, and documentation for project approval and regulatory review.
- Assist in project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to optimize workflow efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; Master’s degree preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
- Construction experience is valuable.
- Proficiency in CAD software including Auto CAD, Revit, Civil 3D, Micro Station, Bluebeam, and Drafting tools.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience.
Experience with structural analysis software such as sframe, staad, etabs, etc.
- Strong understanding of construction processes and civil engineering principles.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of industry standards, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
