This full-time Shipping and Packaging Associate supports daily logistics for a plastic recycling facility. You will prepare documents, verify shipment accuracy, maintain records, and coordinate customer orders. Strong organization, communication, and attention to detail are central to the work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate outbound shipments of recycled plastics and finished products
- Schedule carriers, brokers, and transportation providers
- Prepare bills of lading, packing slips, and customs paperwork
- Verify shipment weights, counts, and product accuracy
- Maintain shipping records and inventory transactions in systems
Requirements:
- Previous shipping, logistics, warehouse, or manufacturing experience preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Microsoft Office and shipping or ERP systems proficiency
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Forklift certification or experience considered an asset
