Install propane tanks safely as a Class B CDL technician for P. Gagnon & Son, following NFPA codes and local regulations. Support customers in the field.
This technician completes tank installations, service work, and required documentation. The position includes safety, compliance, and systems training, followed by supervised field work. You will support delivery operations when needed and maintain required CDL credentials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install propane tanks under NFPA 58, 54, and local regulations
- Complete service orders, billing, and parts documentation accurately
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain truck equipment
- Support seasonal delivery operations by driving delivery vehicles
- Report incidents and safety concerns to the General Manager
Requirements:
- Valid Class B CDL with tanker or Hazmat endorsements
- Two to three years in propane, HVAC, or related work
- Familiarity with propane systems, NFPA codes, and industry standards
- Basic computer skills for service documentation and inspections
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds outdoors
