This 0.5 maternity leave term position requires you to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients transitioning from acute illness to stabilization. You will work collaboratively with a treatment team to craft and adjust care plans guided by patient input while ensuring adherence to nursing ethics and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient assessments every shift
- Develop nursing care plans with treatment team collaboration
- Implement treatment plans and provide direct nursing care
- Engage in therapeutic conversations and activities with patients
- Advocate for patients' identified needs and resources
Requirements:
- Valid Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse license
- Thorough knowledge of nursing theory and practice
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Satisfactory Criminal Record and Abuse Registry Checks
- Physically and mentally able to perform nursing duties
