Use technical sales knowledge and customer service skills as a Counter/Inside Salesperson with Eddy Group in Kentville, Nova Scotia, on weekdays.
Reporting to the Kentville Branch Manager, this full-time position supports current customers and prospects through wholesale sales. You will identify opportunities, provide quotations, resolve objections, and develop lasting relationships. Knowledge of Electrical, IAC, Plumbing, HVAC, or related fields is required, alongside understanding wholesale sales principles and practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow up leads and provide complete information to Outside Sales
- Make outbound customer calls and emails for cross-selling
- Handle inbound prospect calls and convert them into sales
- Provide competitive quotations for commercial and project opportunities
- Highlight product benefits, pricing, and facilitate customer orders
Requirements:
- Technical knowledge in Electrical, IAC, Plumbing, HVAC, or related fields
- Sales or customer service experience in wholesale distribution
- Exceptional ability to identify and resolve objections
- Ability to establish and maintain long-term customer relationships
- Understanding of wholesale sales principles, methods, and techniques
