Lead technical services and operations support for East Gwillimbury’s Public Works, applying municipal infrastructure expertise across essential services. This is a full-time leadership role. Reporting to the Director of Public Works, the Manager oversees water, wastewater, stormwater, roads, streetlighting, solid waste, and traffic operations. The position also leads compliance, contracts, performance reporting, capital planning, asset management, and operational programs. You will guide staff, address service disruptions, and provide technical input to infrastructure planning and development activities. Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical guidance across municipal Public Works services Lead drinking water compliance and DWQMS activities Resolve infrastructure deficiencies, disruptions, and customer concerns Develop operational programs and standard operating procedures Prepare reports, business cases, and recommendations Requirements:
Post-secondary education in engineering or related discipline Minimum eight years of progressive relevant experience Demonstrated supervisory or management experience Valid G license and satisfactory driving record Strong analytical, communication, and report-writing skills Apply municipal infrastructure, compliance, contract, and leadership expertise as East Gwillimbury’s Manager, Technical Services and Operations Support.
