Junior/Senior High School Math and Science Teacher

East Central Alberta Catholic Separate School Division invites applications for the position of 1.0 Junior/Senior Math and Science teacher at Blessed Sacrament School in Wainwright, Alberta.
This is a full-time temporary contract position replacing maternity leave. Duties are to commence on January 4, 2027, to June 29, 2027 with a possibility of extension to January 31, 2028.
Individuals exhibiting the following education, characteristics or interests are encouraged to apply:
- Bachelor of Education
- Ability to teach Junior and Senior High school Math and Science
- Focus on high quality, student-centered learning
- Ability to collaborate with colleagues and to exercise servant leadership
- Willing to be involved in extracurricular activities (coaching or clubs)
- Able to serve and live as an example of Jesus Christ to all
- An Alberta teaching certificate and a current copy of all university transcripts
- A cover letter and complete resume with three references including the name of your last supervisor. Please provide email contact for references.
- a recent and clean Criminal Record Check including Vulnerable Sector Check
- a recent and clean Intervention Record Check (please send request to CFS.IRCCentral@gov.ab.ca)
