This truck driver position supports crews and quarry operations for a heavy civil contractor based in M'Chigeeng on Manitoulin Island. You will haul aggregate, fill, and other materials across highways, gravel roads, and active job sites. Daily inspections, accurate paperwork, and safe driving are central to the work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Haul aggregate, fill, and materials with the triaxle fleet
- Transport loads between quarries, job sites, and customers
- Complete daily pre-trip inspections before operating trucks
- Keep required paperwork accurate and up to date
- Drive safely across highways, gravel roads, and job sites
Requirements:
- Valid Ontario DZ or AZ licence
- Clean driving record
- Experience driving dump trucks or heavy commercial vehicles
- Safety-minded and reliable approach to work
- Comfort working in all seasons
