Dynacare is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technologist for our Core Lab team. This role is vital in providing timely and accurate testing results within the Hematology discipline. You will manage specimen requirements, perform testing duties, maintain equipment, and ensure quality control throughout your shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate sample identification and specimen requirements
- Perform routine Hematology testing, including analyzer maintenance
- Maintain and investigate quality control standards and equipment
- Record, interpret, and approve test results efficiently
- Report incidents and non-conformities proactively
Requirements:
- CSMLS Registration as a practicing Medical Laboratory Technologist
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong troubleshooting and decision-making abilities
- Independent and collaborative working skills
- Experience in Hematology or Chemistry preferred
