Work onsite in Brampton with Dynacare's Core lab, using accurate data entry and laboratory procedures to support sample processing.
As a Clinical Laboratory Assistant, you will support routine chemistry operations at 115 Midair Court. This 12-month contract requires sample preparation, reagent handling, non-interpretive testing, and quality assurance participation. Results requiring review are referred to Medical Laboratory Technologists.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare samples and reagents for routine processing
- Handle unsuitable samples according to established protocols
- Process abnormal, critical, and STATS samples
- Monitor quality control and make appropriate corrections
- Refer results to Medical Laboratory Technologists for review
Requirements:
- Required Medical Laboratory Assistant Certification or approved course
- Health or Science diploma or degree accepted
- Excellent verbal and written English communication
- Ability to multitask in a team-centered environment
- Knowledge of AS400 or LIS is an asset
