This contract full-time, 12-month position supports Dynacare's Core lab team. You will prepare samples and reagents, perform simple non-interpretive tests, and maintain quality control. The work also includes equipment maintenance and following Ministry of Health guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Label and identify samples before testing
- Operate complex instruments following department procedures
- Perform simple non-interpretive testing procedures
- Enter results into the company database
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and document troubleshooting
Requirements:
- Medical Laboratory Assistant Certification or approved laboratory assistant course
- Health or Science diploma or degree
- Excellent data entry skills
- Strong English communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work shifts and stand continuously
