Reporting to the Supervisor, Maintenance Services, this permanent Glazier position focuses on internal and external glass fabrication, assembly, and repair. You will work with frames, hardware, wall facings, windows, skylights, doors, and different glazing systems. The position requires practical equipment knowledge, safety awareness, and familiarity with glazing codes and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Repair internal and external glass structures
- Fabricate and assemble glazing components
- Install or service frames, hardware, and wall facings
- Maintain windows, skylights, and doors
- Use relevant glazing tools and equipment
Requirements:
- Three years of glazing experience
- Valid glazier certificate or equivalent inter-provincial certification
- Grade 12 education or equivalent combination
- Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Act
- Good oral and written English communication
Use your glass repair, fabrication, and systems knowledge to maintain facilities throughout the Board's school sites.
