Lead daily store operations at Dollar Tree in Maple Ridge through customer service, merchandise coordination, and associate development. This is a full-time opportunity.
As an Assistant Store Manager, you will support the Store Manager with store functions, customer concerns, team development, and operational directives. The work includes merchandise handling, opening and closing procedures, promotional displays, record keeping, and loss prevention. Strong communication, organization, and decision-making skills are required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily store activities and operating functions
- Help customers and address questions or concerns
- Coordinate merchandise transfers and maintain seasonal areas
- Complete opening and closing procedures as needed
- Supervise, train, and develop Store Associates
Requirements:
- Store management experience is preferred
- Read, interpret, and explain operational directives
- Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Apply problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Lift up to 55 pounds and perform physical tasks
