As Facilities Manager, you will work with local senior management and global sites to maintain a safe, efficient facility. The position covers compliance, suppliers, space planning, front desk operations, travel, and team management. You will align local delivery with DNEG's global approach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Health & Safety, fire safety, risk assessments, and emergency procedures
- Manage inspections, permits, incident reporting, fire wardens, and first aiders
- Oversee building services, suppliers, contracts, audits, and facilities issues
- Coordinate space allocation, fit-outs, office moves, and workplace requests
- Manage Runners, front desk operations, visitors, deliveries, and business travel
Requirements:
- Office or facilities management experience, including building services
- Health & Safety strategy and implementation experience
- Knowledge of local building codes and BC legislation
- Experience negotiating contracts, suppliers, budgets, and forecasts
- Experience with space planning, fit-outs, floorplans, and building systems
