Lead property tax services at DMA, applying valuation expertise and client leadership to assessment reviews, appeals, and tax savings opportunities. The Director manages personnel and processes supporting Real Estate and Business Personal Property assessment reviews. This senior leader coaches teams, oversees client service, and supports financial performance. The work includes valuation models, jurisdictional research, and State and Local tax consulting services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead talent acquisition, coaching, motivation, and career development
- Oversee assessment reviews, appeals, hearings, and client reporting
- Prepare valuation analyses, findings, correspondence, and status reports
- Identify exemptions, abatements, methodologies, and potential tax savings
- Track deadlines, forecasts, budgets, invoicing, and account performance
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, real estate, finance, economics, or related field
- 10+ years of professional experience; property tax preferred
- Advanced Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word knowledge
- Proven ability to direct and manage staff
- Excellent communication, research, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Use property tax, valuation, leadership, and client service expertise to advance DMA’s assessment review and consulting work.
