Dillon's Structures Transportation Discipline seeks a CAD Designer/Drafter for transportation structures. You will support engineers and project managers with detailed design, construction documents, quantity take-offs, and contract administration. The multidisciplinary team includes engineers, planners, scientists, and technical staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce detailed design drawings using 2D and 3D CAD software
- Prepare construction drawings and contract documents
- Calculate concrete, reinforcement, and miscellaneous steel quantities
- Support shop drawing reviews and contractor submittal reviews
- Complete site assessments and construction observation documentation
Requirements:
- Architectural or Engineering Technologist diploma from an accredited program
- Two to seven years of engineering consulting industry experience
- Proficiency with current AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented approach and relevant standards knowledge considered assets
